With a 36 inch raised floor, computer room air handler (CRAH) units are able to circulate an increased amount of air to better cool your equipment. As illustrated, cold air supply and hot air return plenums are completely contained, creating cold and hot aisle separation on the data center floor. More than 1.6 million cubic feet of air per minute (CFM) circulate through the entire data center, and any power routed under the floor is in conduit, providing a clean plenum.
This configuration also enables Phoenix NAP to have no emergency power off (EPO) switch. Eliminating any chances that power could be inadvertently shut down.
